The palace revealed that she was suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum - a severe morning sickness which affected her previous pregnancies - meaning she has been unable to leave the house.

A royal aide said: "The Duchess' condition is improving but she's still suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum".

We're not convinced we see one, but then again, it's very early - she's not due until spring. The couple has not followed the royal protocol of making uncles one of the godparents, which supposedly entitle Prince Harry to be the godfather of their children.

Fitzwilliams added that Prince William and Middleton will likely have their closest friends among their third baby's godparents.
